Chef Johnny Mooneyham, the Founder of Fork and Fire, is a Smithfield native but relocated to Graham, North Carolina in June 2017. He loves to use fresh local ingredients in all of his food creations.

I have always had a love for cooking and experimenting with flavors from a young age. As I grew up, I realized that cooking was my true passion and decided to pursue a career in the culinary arts.
I trained at one of the top culinary schools in St. Louis and have worked under some of the best chefs in the industry. I have also traveled extensively, exploring different cuisines and techniques from around the world. I specialize in American, Southern, Italian, and Mediterranean Cuisines.
I believe that cooking should be fun, creative, and approachable. I strive to make delicious and healthy meals that are accessible to everyone, regardless of their skill level in the kitchen.
